At Rolling Rabbit RV Repair, we specialize in towable RVs — including travel trailers, fifth wheels, toy haulers, and pop-ups. Our services focus on all coach systems (everything inside and attached to your RV) and do not include engine, drivetrain, generator, or solar repairs.
We provide a wide range of repair and maintenance services, including:
🔧 Electrical Systems (12V & 120V)
• Diagnosing and repairing wiring issues, blown fuses, tripped breakers
• Troubleshooting converters, power distribution panels, and battery problems
• Fixing or replacing lighting, outlets, switches, and interior/exterior fixtures
• Shore power troubleshooting
Electrical issues are among the most common in RVs, and many symptoms overlap. We thoroughly test each part of the system to identify the root cause and ensure a safe repair.
🚿 Plumbing Systems
• Fresh water lines, fittings, leaks, faucets, showers
• Water pumps not building pressure or cycling
• Gray/black tank issues, valve repairs, clogged lines
• Tank sensors not reading correctly
• Water heater troubleshooting and repairs (tankless & traditional)
We also provide winterization and de-winterization services to protect your plumbing system seasonally.
🔥 Heating & Cooling
• Furnace diagnostics and repairs
• Air conditioner troubleshooting (cooling, airflow, and thermostat issues)
• Thermostat replacements or wiring checks
• Ducting or airflow problems
Comfort systems are essential, and we always check for both the mechanical and electrical causes behind temperature issues.
🍳 RV Appliances
• Refrigerators (propane/electric), stoves, ovens, microwaves
• Water heaters (electric, propane, tankless)
• Diagnosing performance issues, error codes, and ignition failures
If an appliance cannot be repaired cost-effectively, we can also handle replacement and installation.
🚐 Slide-Outs & Leveling Systems
• Slide motor issues, cables, rails, seals, and alignment
• Stabilizer jacks and leveling system troubleshooting (manual or electric)
Many slide issues stem from electrical or mechanical problems that must be diagnosed together — we handle both.
🏠 Roof, Exterior, & Structural Maintenance
• Roof inspections & resealing
• Minor siding repairs
• Awning troubleshooting (won’t retract, arms bent, fabric issues)
• Sealant checks around windows, doors, and compartments
Routine exterior maintenance is key to preventing water damage, which is one of the costliest RV issues.
🔍 Diagnostics & Troubleshooting
If you “don’t know what’s wrong,” we can help identify the problem quickly and explain the repair options clearly. Many issues require multi-system testing, and our service includes:
• Step-by-step diagnosis
• Clear explanation of what failed and why
• Recommendations to prevent future issues
🔎 RV Inspections (Towables Only)
We also offer premiere-level NRVIA-style RV inspections for towable RVs, ideal for:
• Buyers wanting a full condition report before purchase
• Sellers wanting documentation to support their listing
• New owners who want a complete safety and systems overview
Inspections include detailed reporting, photos, and testing of all major systems.
Important Note on What We Do Not Service
To avoid confusion, here are a few things we do not work on:
• Motorhome chassis or engine components
• Vehicle drivetrain systems
• Generators (portable or onboard)
• Solar systems (solar panels, controllers, wiring)
• Body collision damage
• Tires, brakes, wheel bearings, or axle work
If you need help finding a specialist for these areas, we can recommend trusted shops in Omaha and surrounding areas.
To help you quickly determine if we’re the right fit for your needs, here’s a clear list of services we do not provide.
At this time, we do NOT work on:
🛠 Motorized Vehicle & Chassis Components
We focus on the RV coach (the living space), not the motorized vehicle or running gear. We do not service:
• Engine or drivetrain systems
• Transmission or differential work
• Brakes, axles, hubs, or suspension components
• Steering systems or alignment-related issues
• Oil changes, coolant service, or other automotive fluids
• Fuel systems (fuel pumps, injectors, fuel lines, etc.)
These systems are best handled by an automotive or truck repair shop or a chassis specialist.
🧲 Tires, Wheels, & Alignment
We do not perform:
• Tire replacement or tire balancing
• Wheel or axle alignments
• Wheel bearing repacks or replacements
For safety and proper equipment, these services should be done at a tire shop, trailer shop, or RV dealer with a service bay.
⚡ Generators & Solar Systems
While we work on many coach electrical systems, we currently do not service or install:
• Onboard or portable generators (diagnostics, repair, or major maintenance)
• Solar panels, solar wiring, or roof-mount solar installations
• Solar charge controllers, inverters, or full off-grid solar system design
We can sometimes help you identify when you need a solar or generator specialist and may be able to refer you to one.
🚐 Major Body, Frame, or Collision Repair
We do not provide:
• Collision repair or insurance bodywork
• Frame straightening or welding of structural members
• Complete roof replacements after severe damage
• Major delamination repair or reconstruction after significant water damage
These types of repairs usually require a full-size RV body shop with the proper equipment and paint facilities.
🧾 Dealership / Manufacturer Warranty Work
At this time, we do not process or bill:
• Manufacturer warranty claims
• Extended service contracts
• Dealership-backed warranty or service plan repairs
All of our work is customer-pay only. If your RV is still under warranty, we recommend contacting your dealer or manufacturer first to see what’s covered.
If you’re unsure whether your issue falls inside or outside our services, you’re always welcome to contact us with a brief description of the problem. We’ll let you know if it’s something we handle—or point you in the right direction if it’s not.
Yes — we do offer emergency repair appointments during our normal business hours, and we do our best to prioritize urgent issues when our schedule allows. Same-day or next-day appointments may include a priority service fee, depending on the situation and travel distance.
Please note that we do not provide after-hours or late-night emergency service. If we are fully booked or unable to respond quickly, we will still try to:
• Offer guidance to help you stabilize the situation
• Refer you to another trusted local technician when possible
Our goal is to help you get back up and running safely, even if we can’t be the ones onsite immediately.
Absolutely. Routine maintenance is one of the most effective ways to prevent major breakdowns, extend the lifespan of your RV systems, and ensure safe, reliable travel. We offer both seasonal and annual maintenance services for towable RVs, as well as one-time appointments if you only need a specific item checked.
Our maintenance options can include:
🛠 Roof & Seal Inspections
• Check all roof seams, vents, skylights, and edges
• Identify cracking or loose sealant before leaks develop
• Inspect exterior seals around windows, doors, and compartments
Early detection of seal failures is crucial for preventing water damage.
🔥 Furnace & Water Heater Servicing
• Clean burner assemblies
• Inspect igniters, flame sensors, and combustion chambers
• Test for proper operation and safe ignition
• Replace anode rods (for tank heaters) and check for sediment buildup
Regular service helps maintain efficiency and prevents mid-season failures.
🌬 Air Conditioning Maintenance
• Clean or replace air filters
• Check evaporator and condenser coils for dirt buildup
• Verify airflow and thermostat operation
Proper AC care helps avoid overheating or freeze-up issues during hot weather.
💧 Fresh Water & Plumbing Checks
• Test the water pump, fittings, and faucets
• Inspect for leaks under sinks and behind access panels
• Check tank valves, plumbing seals, and water pressure regulator recommendations
Small plumbing issues caught early can prevent major water damage later.
🔋 Battery & Electrical System Checks
• Test battery voltage and condition
• Inspect wiring, terminals, and connections
• Verify converter and 12V system function
• Check GFCI outlets and shore power input
Routine checks help prevent unexpected power loss, especially during travel.
🚐 Slide-Out & Moving Component Maintenance
• Lubricate slide-out mechanisms (as appropriate for your system)
• Inspect seals for cracking or compression wear
• Check for alignment issues or abnormal noises
•
Keeping slides maintained reduces strain on motors and tracks.
You can schedule maintenance as a standalone visit or select one of our seasonal service packages depending on your needs. Regular upkeep helps ensure your RV stays in great shape and minimizes unexpected repair costs down the road.
